Sales policy:
Health
- All of our rabbits will be healthy to the best of our knowledge at the time of sale. A complete health inspection will be done in your presence at the time of exchange.
- We will not sell any rabbit showing outward signs of infection, sore hocks, snuffles or any other visible illness.
- We handle our rabbits on a daily basis. As such our rabbits have good temperament. We will not sell any animal that shows signs of severe agression or biting.
Quality
- The animals we have listed as show or breeding stock are animals we believe would have qualities that would be useful in a breeding or showing program.
- Any known faults or disqualifications are clearly listed on our for sale page. In lionheads, we cannot guarantee long term quality of mane. We do our best to be upfront and provide the best possible evaluations.
- Every judge and every breeding is different and we cannot guarantee the results of your showing or breeding any rabbit purchased from us
- All show and breeding quality stock will be sold with a complete pedigree.
Pets
- All pet bunnies sold by Karrot Kreek Rabbitry are sold without a pedigree.
- A one week supply of food and oats will be included with the sale of a pet bunny.
Pricing
- Show Quality - $75 and up
- Breeding Quality - $50 and up
- Pet Quality - $25-$50
- Evaluating young rabbits is extremely difficult and not a precise science. This is why our young rabbits are priced more conservatively than our older juniors. Proven seniors are priced accordingly, as they generally have show experience, proven breeding experience, and are fully developed- all of which increases their value.
Holding Policy
- We require a non-refundable 50% deposit on any rabbit you desire to purchase.
- No bunny will be considered on hold until the deposit is received.
- Bunnies can be held on your behalf for a maximum of 2 weeks.
- Unless prior arrangements have been made, any bunny not picked up in two weeks will be relisted as for sale on our sale page, and your deposit will be forfeited.
- The balance will be due at the time of pickup in cash.
- Held bunnies are still considered property of Karrot Kreek Rabbitry until they have been paid for in full.
- There is a minimum $10 fee to hold a rabbit until pick-up. Pick-up must occur within 2 weeks of Deposit. We cannot hold rabbits indefinitely due to cage space. Any rabbit not picked up within 2 weeks of deposit will be reposted for sale and deposit forfeited (unless prior arrangements have been made in writing, additional expenses may apply).
- Payments can be made via check (will hold rabbit until check clears), cash, or PayPal. Final payment must be made by cash or PayPal.
Delivery
- All rabbits must be picked up at Karrot Kreek Rabbitry, or may be picked up at any show we attend, if prior arrangements are made.
- Rabbits being picked up at a show, must be picked up by 10:00am.
- You must notify us at least 3 days in advance if you will be picking up at a show we attend.
- On occassion we can meet you half way to arrange for a pickup. Please email us regarding that information.
- SHIPPING - We work with a transport service to provide shipping. We feel this is a much safer method of shipping than airlines as the rabbits are personally monitored throughout the journey. Costs for shipping are per mile/per rabbit. Bulk discounts available. You will be required to purchase transport cages and bowls. These need to be provided to us PRIOR to shipping your rabbits.
We reserve the right to cancel the sale of "ANY" rabbit,
at any time to any person at our discreation.
